About Us

My name is Jonathan, founder of NoxTek™.

I grew up on a rural road, with my father’s garage behind the house.

He repaired accident-damaged cars and did mechanical work, bodywork, welding and small mechanical repairs—in short, he did everything himself.

A welder by trade, resourceful, meticulous and extremely talented, he had the rare ability to find a solution to almost any problem. When it came to practical matters, he often had the answer—or knew how to find it.

From a very young age, I became his right-hand helper. The “kid” who held the light, passed him tools, watched and learned.

Before I truly understood the trade, I was already learning the importance of good lighting, the right tool and a job well done.

It was an environment where skill is built with your hands and experience is forged through real work.

You do not learn that from books.

Later, I began working more seriously in auto body repair. I learned that it is a trade built on patience, precision and respect for detail.

My father taught me to work, to work long hours and to work hard—but above all, to respect the trade, the tools and the people.

At the time, lighting was not our strong suit. We often worked with an old corded light and an incandescent bulb. In dark corners, under a car or during an evening repair, I had to keep pace.

Today, LEDs, COBs and compact cordless lights have changed what is possible.

But the principle remains the same: having the right equipment at the right time, ready to keep up with the work.

NoxTek™ was born from that mindset.

NoxTek™ is a Quebec brand of equipment for workshops, maintenance and field work, operated by Solutions NoxTek in Drummondville, Quebec. Our role is to select, evaluate, document and quality-check the products we offer, then handle their preparation and after-sales service.

Experience built through real work

That path naturally continued into the industrial sector.

For more than 16 years, I have worked in maintenance, mechanical work and industrial electromechanics, with responsibilities related to work organization, equipment reliability, and occupational health and safety.

That environment taught me one simple thing: a product may look good on paper, but actual use reveals whether it can do the job.

In workshops, maintenance or production, equipment must be straightforward, reliable and ready to work.

It must also reflect real working conditions: difficult access, dark areas, quick interventions, space constraints, safety, fatigue and the unexpected.

That reality directly guides NoxTek™.

Why NoxTek™ exists

NoxTek™ was born from a simple observation: choosing equipment for work should not be a gamble.

Whether it is lighting, small tools, accessories or organization solutions, a product must first and foremost be useful, suited to its intended purpose and trustworthy.

NoxTek™ aims to offer useful, reliable equipment suited to real working conditions.

Reducing uncertainty when purchasing is part of this approach: customers should not have to guess whether a product is suitable, well chosen or worthy of their trust.

At NoxTek™, selection is part of the product.

Every piece of equipment we offer must have a practical purpose, a clear place and a logical fit with its intended use.

Our approach

Every product offered by NoxTek™ is rigorously selected and evaluated according to our internal approach.

Depending on the type of product, this approach may include:

  • workshop testing;
  • observations under realistic conditions;
  • measurements when relevant;
  • inspection before shipping;
  • validation of the product’s use, limitations and overall fit.

If I am not comfortable using it myself, explaining it clearly or recommending it to someone who works in a workshop, in maintenance or in the field, it has no place in the store.

Our mission

To support people who work, repair, make, maintain, organize and build by offering equipment that truly deserves its place.

At NoxTek™, every product must be:

  • chosen for its practical usefulness;
  • evaluated using a realistic approach;
  • presented with clear information;
  • consistent with the Standard NoxTek™.

Our promise

Useful, honest products we stand behind.

Equipment selected with rigour, carefully evaluated and clearly presented for workshops, maintenance and field work.
