// 01 — USEFUL LIGHTING
The Aterion MK1 is designed for close-range lighting where an overhead light or floodlight is not enough.
USE CASES
Light a specific area under the hood, around a wheel or on a workbench.
Position the light near a machine or in a confined space to keep both hands free.
Use the Flood beam for wide coverage of the immediate work area and the Spot beam to target a detail.
// 02 — POSITIONING
Magnet, hook or freestanding: position the light where it illuminates the work without getting in the way.
The dual-hinge design lets you aim the light up to 270°, directing it where it is needed without lighting up the surrounding area unnecessarily.
Two hinges let you adjust the light up to 270°. The Aterion adapts to the work area, not the other way around.
// 03 — TWO LIGHT SOURCES
The Flood beam lights the work area broadly. The Spot beam concentrates light on a detail. Press and hold to adjust output gradually for the task at hand.
Wide-area lighting for the workbench, inside a compartment or the immediate work area.
A more focused beam for inspection, finding details or use as a flashlight.
Press and hold the button to adjust output gradually. Release it when the desired light level is reached.
The next time it is switched on, the Aterion returns to the last saved output level.
// 04 — NX-EXP VALIDATION
We observe what genuinely affects use: visibility, runtime, holding power and durability.
OBSERVED IN THE SHOP
Each light source is measured at maximum brightness at a distance of 1 m. The initial value is the average reading taken at 30 seconds. The source is then monitored until the first point from which subsequent readings remain within a ±5% range.
The retained percentage is the ratio of stabilized illuminance to initial illuminance.
The beam and useful work area matter as much as the lumen count.
OBSERVED RESULTS
Retention is the ratio of stabilized illuminance to initial illuminance.

OBSERVED IN THE SHOP
The Flood and Spot sources were tested separately at maximum output.
Useful runtime is the period during which the light remains suitable for its intended use. Time to complete shutoff is shown separately to document the full observed cycle.
Honest runtime should remain useful, not simply last until shutoff.
OBSERVED RESULTS
The primary values are the useful runtimes validated by NoxTek at maximum output. Total time to shutoff is shown separately.

OBSERVED IN THE SHOP
The Aterion uses a straightforward mode sequence: Spot → COB → off.
No strobe, SOS or secondary mode gets in the way of the light you need.
Once the brightness is set, you can use the magnetic base and steel hook together with the dual-hinge design to position the light up to 270° and keep it aimed at the work area.
A good interface gives you useful light. Good holding power keeps it where the work demands it.
OBSERVED RESULTS
The controls, mounting points and hinges were observed in the shop and under real-world use. The goal is to verify that the light remains easy to adjust, simple to position and consistent throughout the task.

CONTROLLED TESTS
The Aterion’s construction is observed before, during and after tests suited to its intended use.
Repeated handling, controlled drops and splash exposure help determine whether the product remains consistent and functional under realistic shop conditions.
After each test, we inspect the body, hinges, controls, lighting and charging function.
A durability claim must be supported by the product’s condition after testing.
// 05 — LET’S BE CLEAR
A well-presented product should clearly explain what it is built to do — and what it is not intended to replace.
BEFORE YOU BUY
The Aterion MK1 is a rechargeable work light designed for close-range lighting in shops, garages, maintenance and inspection work.
It positions quickly, lights a specific area and enables hands-free work when the surroundings allow.
It lights a close-range work area. It is not designed to illuminate an entire room, large shop or full jobsite.
The Aterion is designed as a supplementary work light. It is not intended to replace fixed lighting or a primary light used all day without recharging.
Its Spot mode supports inspection and detail work, but is not intended for very long distances.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Aterion MK1 is a rechargeable LED work light designed for close-range lighting in shops, garages, maintenance, mechanical work and inspections.
It combines two complementary light sources. The 5 W COB Flood casts broad light across the work area, while the 3 W Spot mode concentrates the beam for close inspection or occasional flashlight use.
Its controls follow a direct cycle: the first press activates Spot mode, the second switches to Flood mode and the third turns the light off. Press and hold to adjust the output gradually; the memory function restores the last level used the next time it is switched on.
The magnetic base, integrated steel hook and dual-hinge design with up to 270° of adjustment make the light easy to position and keep both hands free when the surroundings allow. Its compact format works well on a workbench, under a vehicle, beside machinery or in tight spaces.
The Aterion MK1 uses a removable 2,000 mAh 18650 lithium-ion battery and charges by USB-C. Usable runtime at maximum brightness is approximately 2 h 30 in Flood mode and 4 h 30 in Spot mode.
Before being offered, the Aterion MK1 was evaluated under the NoxTek™ approach for operation, controls, lighting, runtime, positioning, handling and suitability for its intended use in shops, maintenance and field work.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
FABER includes the Aterion MK1, an included 18650 Li-ion battery, a 50 cm USB-C cable and a Quick Start guide in dedicated packaging designed and made in Québec by NoxTek™.
FOR REAL-WORLD USE
The main polycarbonate body was selected for its light weight, impact resistance and comfortable handling. It helps the Aterion MK1 remain compact and easy to handle during everyday work.
TPR grip areas improve traction and reduce slipping in the hand. The structure also includes aluminium components that contribute to rigidity and the light’s overall construction.
The steel hook provides a sturdy hanging point, while the magnetic base secures the Aterion to a suitable metal surface. Its dual-hinge design adjusts up to 270° to direct the light onto the work area without having to hold it continuously.
Its elongated shape also makes it practical as a flashlight with the 3 W Spot mode, particularly for inspection, detail work and quick tasks.
Lumens are product specifications. The lux values shown in NX-EXP are illuminance measurements taken at 1 m.
Both light sources, variable output, memory and the simple operating cycle are confirmed in the NX-EXP file. The 1 m measurements above also come from the documented tests.
The stated dimensions, weight, battery, charging method and materials appear in the master specification. The file also notes that drop and splash testing is not yet complete and no IP rating should be publicly confirmed at this stage.

Clear answers about its use, controls, runtime, charging, contents and the NoxTek™ — Validé Terrain approach.
Yes. The Aterion MK1 is designed for close-range lighting in garages and workshops. Flood mode covers the immediate work area. Using the magnetic base and the built-in hook together with the dual-hinge design lets you position the light up to 270° for mechanical work, inspection and hands-free tasks.
Yes. Its compact size, USB-C charging and positioning options suit routine maintenance around machinery, in tight spaces and during inspections.
It is not presented as specialized equipment for hazardous or explosive environments, or for work requiring specific certifications.
The Aterion uses a straightforward mode sequence:
Spot → COB → off
A short press advances through the mode sequence. There is no strobe, SOS or secondary mode to cycle through to reach the light you need.
The magnetic base holds the Aterion on a compatible metal surface, leaving your hands free while you work.
Holding strength depends on the surface shape, thickness, coating and cleanliness, as well as the selected angle and any vibration.
Yes. The Aterion MK1 has a USB-C charging port and uses a removable battery (18650) with a capacity of 2 000 mAh.
The stated charging time is approximately 3.5 hours, depending on the power source used.
At maximum brightness, the usable runtime reported by NoxTek is approximately:
During testing, the light shut off completely after approximately 3 h 15 in Flood mode and 5 h 20 in Spot mode. Results may vary with the selected brightness, temperature, battery condition and operating conditions.
